RBS RugbyForce Scotland

9th & 10th August 2014

Registrations for RugbyForce 2014 will open soon!

Giving local rugby clubs a better place to play

Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither were great rugby clubs! However never underestimate how much can be done with an army of willing volunteers.

As part of RBS RugbyForce, we want to help you open up your club to the community and drum up new supporters and players from your local area, get all those odd jobs done ahead of the new season and celebrate all the great things your club has to offer.

In the past, clubs have used RBS RugbyForce to raise funds for the club, play a touch tournament, have a BBQ and do a spot of tidying up!

By taking part in RBS RugbyForce, your club will receive some of the benefits listed below and be part of a nationwide drive to get people excited about rugby and the season ahead.

So register your club and put the 10th & 11th August 2013 in your diary today. You must register by the 24th April 2013. In order to register, your club must be affiliated to the Scottish Rugby Union.

Use the map below to find your club and register or click here to register now if your clubs is not listed.

Look at the support we're giving clubs

We're here to help registered clubs get even more momentum for their event!

1 Local Branch Support

We have a few rugby fans, too

Every registered club will be supported by their local twinned RBS Branch - with posters in the branch to help sign up your local community, and branch staff coming along to your club's RugbyForce event.

2 RBS RugbyForce Support Pack

A box of tricks

We'll send you a RugbyForce Support Pack, to help you organise your club's event. It will include a RugbyForce booklet with hints and tips, a poster to let club members know you’re taking part and a banner to help you promote your event on the day.

3 Local press

Making headlines

We’ll make sure that local papers and radio stations know all about RugbyForce. Fingers crossed, they’ll give your clubs a mention!  'Rugby Lad' will also be keeping everyone updated on Facebook and Twitter.

4Reward your RBS RugbyForce volunteers

We'll give you a carrot

Well, maybe not a real carrot. That won't keep hungry volunteers happy for long! But we will give every RugbyForce registered club £250 to help with things like food for a BBQ or DIY materials.

5 Supplier Discount

Mates' rates

We'll also help your club drum up local business support. We'll advertise all local companies that get behind RugbyForce on a national scale - and be linking up with bigger suppliers too, so that all registered clubs could have access to useful discounts. More details, closer to the time.

Supersize your RBS RugbyForce day

We've been talking to a few Scotland players and they're keen to get involved again. So for 10 lucky clubs we’ll have a Scotland player available from one of the following Scotland teams - Men's, Women's, 7's, U20's, U18's, and U17's... who knows, who could be coming along to your club's RugbyForce event, helping with DIY or maybe taking a training session!

To be in with a chance of being one of the 10 clubs, you will need to complete the short RugbyForce Registration form and tell us why we should send a player your way! Our judges will decide on the most apt answers. To be in with a chance to win the Enhanced Activity Day you must have registered your club and enter the competition by 24th April 2013. The player in attendance and the day of attendance by the player will be determined by The Royal Bank of Scotland plc and the Scottish Rugby Union. Terms & Conditions apply.
