How to register your club...

Simply click on this registration form link, fill in the details and e-mail back to rbs.rugby@rbs.co.uk

Remember to include the detail about your day and your club could end up hosting a couple of Scottish Internationals!

Get your club’s season off to an action-packed start by taking part in RBS RugbyForce 2014!

With the support of Royal Bank of Scotland, clubs up and down the land will be throwing open their doors and putting on community events designed to attract new players, members, supporters, volunteers and sponsors ahead of the new campaign.

Last year, a record number of Scottish clubs (149) signed up, and we can’t wait to have you all on board again!

To make sure of your club’s place, simply download and complete the registration form on this page and email it to rbs.rugby@rbs.co.uk by Friday 30 May. In order to sign up, your club must be affiliated with the Scottish Rugby Union.

Remember that even if your club took part last year, you still need register to let us know you want to be involved this time around. If you’ve any questions about the sign-up process, please email rbs.rugby@rbs.co.uk.

Clubs can stage their event on either Saturday 9 or Sunday 10 August. If neither of those days is suitable, you also have the option of selecting an alternative date.

RBS RugbyForce has traditionally focussed on DIY improvements to facilities, but why not take a broader view and put on a day with something for everyone? Successful events in 2013 featured family BBQs, “come and try” touch rugby sessions, stalls and competitions and assault courses.

You could keep it simple and build RBS RugbyForce around one of your pre-season friendlies, with a minis tournament before the game and a BBQ for everyone to enjoy afterwards!

Look at the support we're giving clubs

We're here to help registered clubs get even more momentum for their event!

1 Local Branch Support

We have a few rugby fans, too

We'll get in touch with every local RBS Branch that is closest to their nearest club and give them posters in the branch to help sign up volunteers in your local community.

2 RBS RugbyForce Support Pack

A box of tricks

We'll send you a RugbyForce Support Pack, to help you organise your club's event. It will include a RugbyForce booklet with hints and tips, a poster to let club members know you’re taking part and a banner to help you promote your event on the day.

3 Local press

Making headlines

We’ll make sure that local papers and radio stations know all about RugbyForce. Fingers crossed, they’ll give your clubs a mention!  'Rugby Lad' will also be keeping everyone updated on Facebook and Twitter.

4Reward your RBS RugbyForce volunteers

We'll give you a carrot

Well, maybe not a real carrot. That won't keep hungry volunteers happy for long! But we will give every RugbyForce registered club £250 to help with things like food for a BBQ or DIY materials.

GET A SCOTLAND PLAYER ALONG...

A whole host of Scotland internationals will once more be hitting the road to support events on the Saturday of RBS RugbyForce weekend. When you fill out your registration form, you’ll be asked how a Scotland player appearance would add value to your event – last year close to 40 international players rolled up their sleeves and helped out at clubs from Ellon to Newton Stewart, via Crieff and Strathearn and Selkirk.

To be in with a chance of being one of the 10 clubs, you will need to complete the short RugbyForce Registration form and tell us why we should send a player your way! Our judges will decide on the most apt answers. To be in with a chance to win the Enhanced Activity Day you must have registered your club and enter the competition by 30th May 2014. The player in attendance and the day of attendance by the player will be determined by The Royal Bank of Scotland plc and the Scottish Rugby Union. Terms & Conditions apply.
